Made Of The Same Thing

“If you are willing to obey the Lord Jesus, He will illuminate your spirit, inwardly enlighten you; and the truth you have known will then be known spiritually, and power will begin to flow up and out and you will find yourself changed—marvelously changed.” Tozer

Taylor shared a story that was told to her about a man from our church who use to work for a peat moss company. She went on to explain that this company had several different bags labeled for many type’s of peat moss, yet in reality they had only one variety. The company charged different prices for each variety yet they were all the same… different package, same content. Very deceptive but unfortunately true. As Taylor finished up with her story, she then went on to tell me that’s kind of how people are… We’re all made of the same stuff just in different packages, yet some people think they are a little more valuable than others.

I was quite impressed with her insight and ability to expound on this in a spiritual way… it showed her thought process maturing and developing. As I pondered on this for a time it made me realize how right her analogy was and how sad as well…

I had the above quote saved for over a month now, waiting for the right time to use it… the right experience to put it with… God just does stuff like that ya know… He’s always willing to enlighten His children when they’re willing to be enlightened…

Until next time,
Jean
